The proposed project will replace the existing rotary south of the Bourne Bridge with a Routes 25 and 28 interchange. A new northbound lane will be constructed for Route 28; the present northbound lane will become the southbound lane, and the present southbound lane will become a two-way service road. The Route 25 connector will begin at the proposed interchange and run in an easterly direction to Route 6 (Mid-Cape Highway) where a Routes 25 and 6 interchange will be constructed. The Route 25 connector and the proposed Route 28 will be divided highways with full access control. Environmental impacts are discussed.
