The purpose of the Checkout Operations Manual is to serve as an activation program for the 564th Strategic Missile Squadron located at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming. The Checkout Operations Manual is used in conjunction with the applicable Ground Support Equipment Installation and Checkout Schedule for Base Activation. The manual provides information concerning activation tasks which, when completed, will activate SMS 564A and SMS 564B for formal acceptance by the Air Force. (Author)
