This report describes the steps involved in the design and evaluation of the FMU-90/B point-detonating delay fuze for the 2.75-inch folding-fin aircraft rocket (FFAR). Beginning with a summary of the performance requirements of this fuze, it discusses various phases of the development of the fuze. Formal laboratory evaluation and results of high-speed track and ground-launch tests of the fuze are summarized. The design, development, and qualification testing of a stab-initiated 50-millisecond delay primer is included. (Author)
