The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) provides geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) for our nations security. NGA is the world leader in timely, relevant, accurate, and actionable GEOINT and a unique combination of combat support agency and intelligence agency. Anyone who fights wars, locates targets, sails a U.S. ship, flies a U.S. aircraft, makes national policy decisions, responds to natural disasters, or even navigates with a cell phone relies on NGA. The year 2020 represents a historic inflection point for our agency, our community, and our nation. In addition to the challenges we currently face from the COVID-19 pandemic, great power competition has re-emerged as another challenge to U.S. prosperity and security. From a national security perspective, our near-peer adversaries pose real threats. To helpmeet this challenge, NGA intends to deliver trusted GEOINT with the speed, accuracy, and precision required to hold at risk the strategic forces our adversaries use to project power and threaten the United States and our Allies.
