The objectives included: (1) provision of competent technical and engineering personnel to survey damage occurring to the ship targets as a result of exposure during the underwater shots, Wahoo and Umbrella, (2) determination and documentation of damage data from ship targets and provision of this damage data to Projects 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, and 3.5, and (3) documentation, by target, of damage occurring to ship targets. A related objective was to prepare ship targets for inclusion in the shot arrays.
