Maritime surveillance is one of the major phases of security concern of borders to track the illegal movement across the borders. Over the past decade, deep learning proves in majority of applications for an efficient object detection and classification. This research article gives the detailed overview of various deep learning based architecture for an efficient ship detection using satellite images.
