Coulomb explosion dynamics of N/sub 2/O in intense laser fields was studied by coincidence momentum imaging. It was revealed that the geometrical structure of N/sub 2/O is largely deformed in intense laser fields, i.e. the N-N and N-O bonds stretch to about 1.5 times and the azimuthally averaged N-N-O bond angle becomes as small as 140/spl deg/.
