We demonstrated a practical 560 nm yellow-green laser using a novel external resonator for a high-power broad-area laser diode and a periodically poled LiNbO/sub 3/ waveguide. Conversion efficiency of 320%/W and output stability within /spl plusmn/2% was achieved.
