An in vitro biological tissue sample is measured using a THz 2D-EO imaging system. The structure of the sample is successfully identified in the spectroscopic image as low transmittance lines. These lines are caused by the difference of water content in the tissues or by Fabry-Perot effect at the interfaces between different tissues.
