In the equipment system, software functions are encapsulated into middleware, which provides the basic functions for the equipment system and provides applications in an open and programmable API (Application Programming Interface) interface. The correctness and reliability of the middleware interface directly affect the reliability of the equipment system. Taking the middleware in the equipment system architecture as the research object, this paper studies the status quo that the testing of the middleware interface needs to write a lot of test code manually and there is a lack of applicable and targeted automated testing tools. A model-driven interface automation testing method is proposed. Firstly, the characteristics of equipment system software and interface are analyzed, and the interface modeling of middleware software API is carried out. Then, based on the interface model and test coverage requirements, the research on single interface and combined interface test data and test case generation technology is carried out. Based on test cases, the research on automatic test code generation is carried out to support the interface automated test capability. Then, on this basis, design an interface automation test tool which can realize graphical test interface layout and cross-language test code generation.
