This paper experimentally clarifies the dependence of the lasing mode stability on the two working conditions, namely synchronous mode and asynchronous mode. This study also demonstrates high-performance lasing properties obtained with an external cavity wavelength tunable filter module adopting an asynchronous mode cavity.
