This paper deals with the challenge to integrate direct current charging stations with four vehicle access points but just one grid connection point into the existing catenary infrastructure, which is mainly used by trolley buses of Solingens (Germany) urban transportation system. To manage the associated volatile energy supply, a smart strategy, able to assign the available charging power to the correspondent individual vehicle requests, is required. A possible approach and the simulated test environment are presented in this paper.
