To increase the power capability and quality multilevel inverters are extensively used. The maintenance and switch stress of two stage switched capacitor module is high. So, this drawback can overcome by using single stage switching operation. In 9-level cascaded h-bridge multilevel inverter by using single stage switching operation, the number of switches is less and using only one source. Proposed topology gives high efficiency, faster response and high-power density compared to two stage switched capacitor module. The simulation is performed in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
