In this contribution we describe an IR laser system that fulfills the requirements of the pulse bandwidth and CEP control and can be considered as a prototype of the next-generation attosecond pulse driver source. In summary, we demonstrate a chain of frequency conversion and parametric amplification which appears to be a very promising route towards constructing a high-peak-power IR driver laser for high-field and attosecond applications.
