With the increasing availability of smart connectivity, the enhanced energy-optimized control framework has gained widespread attention. This paper presents a benchmark study on energy optimization of electric vehicles equipped with an A/C system in a V2X environment. The speed trajectory optimization is achieved by integrating both traffic information and information from the leading vehicle. A four-wheel torque distribution is implemented using an efficiency-maximization strategy. Simulations are conducted to verify the control effectiveness of the proposed strategy, and the simulation results are analyzed and discussed.
