India is a nation in the process of developing. Population in India is increasing rapidly. In terms of population, India ranks second in the world. The progressive increase in population will lead to an increase in the number of vehicles, which will lead to an increase in traffic congestion and an increase in the need for emergency vehicles. Getting emergency vehicles on time is challenging. In these situations, it is essential to have a system that will disable the traffic signal, especially during rush hours, and provide assurance that emergency vehicles will arrive on time. The necessity for emergency vehicles to clear the path needs to be emphasised more. When an accident occurs, the proposed module, which is inserted into the victim’s vehicle, automatically sends the accident's location to the nearest medical service station. The ambulance sends the reputational status of the patient through the cloud to the hospital’s health care center, which helps analyse the patient's condition and sends the ambulance's GPS (Global Positioning System) location to the hospital. When the ambulance reaches a range of 500 metres, it automatically turns the traffic signal into an emergency green signal with the help of UWB (Ultra-Wide Band). Using this method, the emergency vehicles were able to travel faster to their location, and so many lives were saved.
