A novel cooperative guidance strategy is proposed to allow seeker-less missiles hit the target accurately. For this strategy, seeker-less missiles (followers) are commanded to fly in front of the seeker-equipped missile (leader), to improve the survival rate of the leader. Based on the aforementioned strategy, dynamic inversion control is utilized to design cooperative guidance laws for followers. Through aforementioned guidance laws, positions and directions of velocities for followers can both converge to the line-of-sight of the leader, i.e. followers can hit the target. Conditions for same and different velocities between the leader and followers are considered. Simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of proposed guidance laws. The influence of guidance parameters on the performance is also analyzed.
