Although it is an old method, the use of Green’s function to solve unsteady flow in reservoir engineering is not widely practiced. The reasons are that it is difficult to find the appropriate Green’s function and evaluating performance of perforation completion of horizontal well is more sophisticated than conventional completion. In this study, the flow in formation after being perforated is regarded as linearity source, and its Green’s function, which can be used with the Newman’s product method and Laplace transform to generate solutions for the problem, was deserved, then the conductivity of perforated horizontal well, which skin factor and wellbore storage has been taken account into, can be effectively estimated used Darcy’s law and numerical inversion of Laplace transform. The solutions for some other infinite reservoirs were also prepared. Finally, an application and some discussions were presented, and the results are true to the practice.
