In this paper, we have studied an application of lane marking detection applied to the computation of Time to Line Crossing (TLC). Lane marking detector uses multiple algorithms to detect lane marking, and then, try to adapt an analytic description of the markings. We have validated different approaches of this application using an accurate ground knowledge: a RTK1GPS and a centimeter accurate digital map of the road marks. Results are presented the paper.
