A lot of IoT devices are used in manufacturing, agriculture, distribution, infrastructure. In these environments, transmission timing of devices overlaps, and packet collisions might happen. When packet collisions are happened, packet retransmissions are occurred. This results in packet delay. In this paper, we propose a transmission timing control scheme of multiple wireless LAN systems for the purpose of interference prevention between IoT devices. In the proposed scheme, packet transmission timing is controlled by a coordinator which controls overall system in addition to a conventional CSMA/CA. Our proposed scheme is realized by software so that new hardware implementation is not required. We evaluate packet delay performance from the viewpoint of both the prototype and simulation. From these results, we show that the packet delay can be reduced compared to the conventional CSMA/CA-only control.
