In the process of planning and construction of logistics park, the functional area layout and the traffic organization in the park influence on each other, and the relationship between them is helpful to improve the layout of logistics park. Because the influence of traffic organization on the layout is not considered in the existing layout model, in this paper, the traffic network in logistics park and travel time of trucks were involved into the new model. Then genetic algorithm was selected to solve the model. With layout transformation based on the chromosome, the traffic network was built and intersection nodes were extended so as to calculate the travel time of truck using shortest path algorithm. Finally based on the traffic organization scheme, the level of each road can be determined. Compared with the existing model, these operations would increase computational complex, but the result will meet the actual demand because the relationship between function area layout and the traffic organization were taken into account. The case results indicate that the total truck travel time can be reduced by 9.5% on average compared with the base layout.
