Novel magneto-plasmonic emission phenomena are observed from excited Landau levels in In/sub x/Ga/sub 1-x/As quantum wells when pumped using intense femtosecond laser excitation in strong magnetic fields (25 T). The emission character is reminiscent of coherent spontaneous and stimulated emission.
