A radar pulse integration (PI) technique was recently propounded in the context of which the receiver clips the envelope detector outputs to a suitable level to suppress jammer energy before performing PI. In this contribution, probability density functions relevant to this technique have been derived with the aid of which it has been demonstrated that this new PI scheme, in combination with frequency agility, offers appreciable performance gain when the radar faces noise jamming.
