The limitation of all known vehicle or target position, orientation or trajectory acquirements under angular systems (GPS, TCAS, Radar, ADS-B, etc.) are related to the specifications that correlate azimuth and zenith as angular values that are measured on orthogonal different planes. Such features have produced until present day a gross mismatch amongst overloading data processing and response. Addressing such problem, the Pat. Pending Trans-Dimensional System (TD) provides a mathematical solution that puts everything together on the same single mathematical plane on 2D or 3D, with the intention of reducing most of the pilot's response time as well as the computer tasks. With regard to Situational Awareness TD provides the pilot with a revolutionary comprehensive single display (one single graphic) that shows hemispheric (180° × 180°) and/or spherical vision (360° × 360°) customized with the instantaneous 3D visualization of each intruder's flight path vector and distance to reach in the following n seconds. Such novel display may obviously integrate navigation information such as aircraft inclination (pitch, roll and yaw), the air speed, altitude, Synthetic vision etc. The tridimensional trajectories that are presented, now may be better understood in a glance, allowing a more intelligent and prompt response from the pilot even in combat or critical situations. Using advanced features of the TD, the angular orientation and velocity of any object on images can also be achieved, enabling the TD to also 3D digitalize into different platforms the object, face or zone of interest. The computation workload for proper target acquirement with regard to the Equations of Movement is also expected to decrease. TD is also capable to manage many vector readings from different transducers for intermingled process and display, such feature is partially exemplified with the hemispheric vision display. Linear Algebra and Vector Calculus can be extended on this new dimensional concept.
