This paper seeks to combine the concepts of power signal monitoring with previous research into static embedded system physical cyber-security. This combination presents a potential approach to securing the operation of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. With this approach, the concepts of trust metrics, derived from power signal data, are applied to ensure the security and consistent performance of the dynamic SCADA system control processes.
