In the rail transit, there are many devices in operation which will produce a more intense electromagnetic interference. And some devices are more sensitive to electromagnetic interference, and therefore will not work properly, or even malfunction. So electromagnetic compatibility is the problem that must be considered and solved during the design of rail transit equipment system. According to the design goal of electromagnetic compatibility of rail transit, the generation mechanism, characteristics and test grade of the rapid transient electric burst are analyzed. Combined with the EFT immunity test of some devices in rail transit, we also analyze and summarize the measures of electromagnetic protection in each equipment system.
