Considerable traffic is increased due to looking for available free parking spots People move from one parking spot to another in search of free spots. By automating available free spots, chances of possible traffic jams are reduced. The System we are going to build, allows everyone to pay for their parking. On literature survey, it is found that keeping track of free parking spots is not fully automated and that a certain level of human interaction is required. ALPR systems use Optical Character Recognition to recognize number plates by making use of cameras. By this system, vehicle registration numbers can be saved and processed as per the requirement.
