An IoV with high dependability can be crucial to the safety of vehicle participants and even city transit. In this paper, a cluster model of IoV with network slicing is introduced. Using this model, an integrated vehicles clustering and network slicing scheme is proposed for the IoV network to ensure the dependability of different traffics. A Christmas Tree analysis model, based on the Age of Information (AoI), serves as an integrated indicator of dependability in urban transit, to evaluate the integrated dependability of IoV in terms of packet drop, re-transmission and other environmental impacts. Simulation results indicate that the proposed IoV cluster with the network slicing scheme is capable of improving the integrated dependability of the IoV system.
