The Coastal Engineering Research Center's (CERC) Field Research Facility (FRF) at Duck, North Carolina, is a 561-meter long (1,841 feet) pier and laboratory dedicated to basic and applied coastal research. This report, which describes the facility, the instrumentation and data being collected, and the local area, is designed to be used as a tool when planning experiments to be conducted at the facility. Use of the FRF by outside researchers is encouraged.
