Disclosed are an apparatus for performing control right switching in consideration of changes in a driving environmental factor, and a method thereof. The method for performing the control right switching in consideration of the changes in the driving environmental factor according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise the steps of: acquiring environmental information associated with the driving environmental factor of a vehicle and personal information of a driver of the vehicle; setting a control right switching time, which is a time point from a request for the control right switching for driving of the vehicle to a time point when the control right switching is to be completed, based on at least one of the environmental information and the personal information; and outputting a switching request signal requesting the driver to switch a control right based on a vehicle driving condition and the control right switching time. Accordingly, the apparatus for performing the control right switching analyzes and reflects an influence of the changes in various driving environment variables and human characteristics on a control right switching process.

    주행 환경요인의 변화를 고려한 제어권 전환 수행 장치 및 방법이 개시되며, 본원의 일 실시예에 따른 주행 환경요인의 변화를 고려한 제어권 전환 수행 방법은, 차량의 주행 환경요인과 연계된 환경 정보 및 상기 차량의 운전자의 인적 정보를 획득하는 단계, 상기 환경 정보 및 상기 인적 정보 중 적어도 하나에 기초하여 상기 차량의 주행에 대한 제어권 전환의 요청 시점으로부터 상기 제어권 전환이 완료되어야 하는 시점까지의 시간인 제어권 전환 시간을 설정하는 단계 및 상기 차량의 주행 상황 및 상기 제어권 전환 시간에 기초하여 상기 운전자에게 상기 제어권 전환을 요청하는 전환 요청 신호를 출력하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
