The present invention relates to the thermal management technology of a battery pack for stably supplying electric energy to a vehicle-mounted freezer, which is a means of ensuring freshness during delivery in a modern society where demand for fresh food delivery is rapidly increased. An air-cooled battery pack for a refrigerator truck proposed by the present invention comprises: a housing positioned adjacent to the inside or outside of a freezer of a refrigerator truck; a battery positioned inside the housing and storing energy for cooling the freezer; and a heat exchanger for cooling the battery by allowing heat transfer between air inside the freezer and air inside the housing, wherein the air inside the freezer and the air inside the housing do not mix with each other. Accordingly, the air-cooled battery pack proposed by the present invention is structurally simple and provides an energy-saving effect because a separate heat pump system is not included and an overheat prevention function is realized by using the cold of the freezer of the refrigerator truck. In particular, the energy-saving effect is enhanced by allowing natural convection to help air circulation inside the heat exchanger. In addition, air is not polluted while circulating the cold of the freezer to pass the inside of the battery pack, and there is no structure protruding toward the loading space of the freezer, thereby maximizing space utilization.

    본 발명은 신선식품 배달 수요가 급속히 증가하고 있는 현대사회에서 배달 중 신선도를 보장하는 수단인 차량 탑재형 냉동고에 전기에너지를 안정적으로 공급하기 위한 배터리팩 열관리 기술에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명이 제시하는 냉동탑차용 공랭식 배터리팩은, 냉동탑차 냉동고의 내부 또는 외부에 인접하여 위치한 하우징과, 상기 하우징 내부에 위치하고 상기 냉동고를 냉각시키기 위한 에너지를 저장하고 있는 배터리와, 상기 냉동고의 내부 공기와 상기 하우징의 내부 공기 상호간에 열전달을 허용함으로써 상기 배터리를 냉각시키는 열교환기를 포함하여 이루어지되, 상기 냉동고의 내부 공기와 상기 하우징의 내부 공기는 서로 혼합되지 않는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이로써, 본 발명이 제시하는 공랭식 배터리팩은 별도의 히트펌프 시스템을 구비하지 않고 냉동탑차 냉동고의 냉기를 이용해 과열 방지 기능을 구현하였기에 구조적으로 단순하고 에너지절약의 효과를 제공한다. 특히, 열교환기 내부에서 자연대류가 공기 순환에 도움되도록 함으로써 에너지절약의 효과는 증진된다. 또한 냉동고의 냉기가 배터리팩 내부를 통과하도록 순환시키면서도 공기를 오염시키지 않으며 냉동고의 적재 공간 측으로 돌출되는 구조물이 없어 공간활용도를 최대화한다.
