Disclosed is an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle that can effectively prevent thermal damage of a temperature door by a heater core without increasing the overall size of the air conditioning apparatus and can minimize air flow resistance by optimizing the arrangement of a heat exchanger. Provided is an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle having a two-layer flow structure, in which an upper flow passage and a lower flow passage are separated, comprising: a separation wall dividing the upper flow passage from the lower flow passage; a heat exchanger for cooling and a heat exchanger for heating provided over the upper flow passage and the lower flow passage; and an upper temperature door provided in the upper flow passage and a lower temperature door provided in the lower flow passage, which are provided between the heat exchanger for cooling and the heat exchanger for heating, wherein a horizontal distance between a support unit of at least one of the upper temperature door and the lower temperature door, and the heat exchanger for heating is formed to be longer than the horizontal distance between the opposite end of the support unit in the sliding direction of the upper temp temperature and the lower temperature door, and the heat exchanger for heating.

    공조장치의 전체 사이즈를 증대시키지 않으면서 히터코어에 의한 템프도어의 열해를 효과적으로 방지하고 열교환기의 배치를 최적화하여 공기 유동 저항을 최소화할 수 있는 차량용 공조장치가 개시된다. 차량용 공조장치는 상측 유로와 하측 유로가 분리된 2층류 구조의 차량용 공조장치에 있어서, 상기 상측 유로와 하측 유로를 구획하는 분리벽; 상기 상측 유로와 하측 유로에 걸쳐 구비되는 냉각용 열교환기 및 가열용 열교환기; 냉각용 열교환기와 가열용 열교환기 사이에 구비되는 것으로, 상측 유로에 구비되는 상측 템프도어 및 하측 유로에 구비되는 하측 템프도어를 포함하며, 상측 템프도어와 하측 템프도어 중 적어도 하나의 지지부와 가열용 열교환기 간의 수평방향 거리는 상측 템프도어와 하측 템프도어의 슬라이드 방향으로 지지부의 반대쪽 단부와 가열용 열교환기 간의 수평방향 거리보다 길게 형성된다.
