Disclosed are a boil-off gas treatment system for a ship and a method thereof which can effectively cool boil-off gas to increase reliquefaction performance and treat the boil-off gas. According to the present invention, the boil-off gas treatment system for a ship comprises: a boil-off gas supply line connected from a storage tank provided on a ship to a main engine; a compressor provided on the boil-off gas supply line, and receiving boil-off gas created from liquefied gas stored in the storage tank to compress the boil-off gas; a reliquefaction line branching from the boil-off gas supply line at the rear end of the compressor to be connected to the storage tank, and re-liquefying compression gas compressed by the compressor; a first heat exchanger provided on the reliquefaction line and receiving the compression gas to cool the compression gas by heat exchange with uncompressed boil-off gas to be supplied to the compressor; a branch line branching from the reliquefaction line at the front end of the first heat exchanger, and merging with the reliquefaction line at the rear end of the first heat exchanger; a second heat exchanger provided on the branch line and receiving compression gas branching to the branch line to cool the compression gas; a first decompression device provided downstream of the merging point of the branch line in the reliquefaction line, and decompressing compression gas cooled through the first or the second heat exchanger; a gas-liquid separator provided on the reliquefaction line and receiving boil-off gas decompressed by the first decompression device to separate gas and liquid; and a fuel supply line supplying gas separated by the gas-liquid separator to a generation engine in the ship through the second heat exchanger.

    선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템은, 선박에 마련된 저장탱크로부터 주엔진으로 연결되는 증발가스 공급라인; 상기 증발가스 공급라인에 마련되며 상기 저장탱크에 저장된 액화가스로부터 발생하는 증발가스를 공급받아 압축하는 압축기; 상기 압축기의 후단에서 상기 증발가스 공급라인으로부터 분기되어 상기 저장탱크로 연결되며, 상기 압축기에서 압축된 압축가스를 재액화시키는 재액화라인; 상기 재액화라인에 마련되며 상기 압축가스를 공급받아 상기 압축기로 공급될 미압축 증발가스와 열교환으로 냉각시키는 제1 열교환기; 상기 제1 열교환기의 전단에서 상기 재액화라인으로부터 분기되며 상기 제1 열교환기의 후단에서 상기 재액화라인으로 합류되는 분기라인; 상기 분기라인에 마련되며 상기 분기라인으로 분기된 압축가스를 공급받아 냉각시키는 제2 열교환기; 상기 재액화라인에서 상기 분기라인의 합류 지점 하류에 마련되며 상기 제1 또는 제2 열교환기를 거쳐 냉각된 압축가스를 감압하는 제1 감압장치; 상기 재액화라인에 마련되며 상기 제1 감압장치에서 감압된 증발가스를 공급받아 기액분리하는 기액분리기; 및 상기 기액분리기에서 분리된 기체를 상기 제2 열교환기를 거쳐 선내 발전엔진으로 공급하는 연료공급라인:을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
