The present invention relates to a method of measuring an amount of a fuel, which accurately measures the amount of the fuel even on the slope and transmits accurate information to a construction equipment operator. A construction equipment comprises: a fuel sensor mounted on a fuel tank to measure a fuel level; a slope sensor for measuring the slope of the fuel in the fuel tank; and a control unit for calculating a height when the fuel is horizontal using a normal vector of a plane generated by the fuel surface calculated using the height of the fuel measured by the fuel sensor and the slope of the fuel measured by the slope sensor, and calculating the amount of the fuel by multiplying the calculated height and a floor area of the fuel tank.

    본 발명은 경사면에서도 정확한 연료량을 측정하여 건설장비 운전자에게 정확한 정보를 전달하는 연료량 측정 방법에 관한 것으로, 연료 탱크에 장착되어 연료의 높이를 측정하는 연료 센서; 상기 연료 탱크의 상기 연료의 기울기를 측정하는 기울기 센서; 및 상기 연료 센서가 측정한 연료의 높이와 상기 기울기 센서가 측정한 연료의 기울기를 이용하여 산출되는 연료 표면이 생성하는 평면의 법선 벡터를 이용하여 연료가 수평일 때의 높이를 산출하고, 상기 산출된 높이와 상기 연료 탱크의 바닥면적을 곱하여 연료량을 산출하는 제어부;를 포함한다.
