According to the present invention, a propeller cavitation reduction system for a vessel comprises: a cooling system mounted on a vessel to perform cooling by circulating a cooling fluid toward a portion of a propeller; a cooling line area installed in the portion of the propeller and circulating the cooling fluid; and a rotary joint connecting the cooling system and a drive shaft of the propeller, and allowing the cooling fluid to be supplied to or recovered from to the drive shaft of the cooling system during rotation of the drive shaft. Here, the cooling line area is located in a propeller area with 0.5R or more based on a radius (R) of the propeller with respect to a center line of the drive shaft. Therefore, the present invention has an advantage of effectively reducing cavitation of a propeller by locally lowering only a temperature of a portion of a propeller blade surface with 0.5R or more.

    본 발명에 따른 선박용 프로펠러 캐비테이션 저감 시스템은, 선박에 탑재되어 프로펠러의 일부 측으로 냉각유체를 순환시켜 냉각시키는 냉각시스템; 프로펠러의 일부에 설치되며 냉각유체가 순환되는 냉각라인영역; 및 냉각시스템과 프로펠러의 구동축을 연결하되, 구동축의 회전에서 냉각시스템의 구동축에 대한 냉각유체 공급과 회수를 허용하는 로터리 조인트를 포함한다. 여기서, 냉각라인영역은, 구동축의 중심선에 대한 프로펠러의 반경(R)을 기준으로 0.5R 이상의 프로펠러 영역에 위치한다. 상기와 같은 본 발명은, 프로펠러 날개면의 0.5R 이상 부분의 온도만 국부적으로 낮추어 효율적으로 프로펠러의 공동 현상을 저감시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.
