Disclosed are a boil-off gas treatment system for a ship and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the boil-off gas treatment system for a ship, in ships having a main engine and a power generation engine which receives fuel with a lower pressure than that of the fuel for the main engine, comprises: a compressor which receives boil-off gas generated from liquefied gas stored in a storage tank of the ship, and compresses the boil-off gas by a fuel supply pressure of the main engine; a heat exchanger which receives boil-off gas which is not supplied to the main engine of the boil-off gas compressed by the compressor, and cools the boil-off gas by exchanging heat with the uncompressed boil-off gas to be supplied to the compressor; a first pressure reduction apparatus which reduces the pressure of the boil-off gas cooled by the heat exchanger; a first gas-liquid separator which receives the boil-off gas, of which the pressure is reduced by the first pressure reduction apparatus, and divides the same into gas and liquid; a second gas-liquid separator which receives the liquefied gas divided by the first gas-liquid separator, and divides the liquefied gas into gas and liquid; and a precooler which is placed between the compressor and the heat exchanger to pre-cool the boil-off gas to be cooled by the heat exchanger. The flash gas divided by the first gas-liquid separator can be supplied as fuel for the power generation engine by passing through the heat exchanger. The present invention aims to provide the boil-off gas treatment system for a ship and the method thereof, which are able to increase the cooling performance of the heat exchanger.

    선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템은, 주엔진과 상기 주엔진보다 저압연료를 공급받는 발전엔진이 마련된 선박에서, 선박의 저장탱크에 저장된 액화가스로부터 발생하는 증발가스를 공급받아 상기 주엔진의 연료공급압력으로 압축하는 압축기; 상기 압축기에서 압축된 상기 증발가스 중 상기 주엔진으로 공급되지 않은 증발가스를 공급받아, 상기 압축기로 공급될 미압축 증발가스와 열교환으로 냉각시키는 열교환기; 상기 열교환기에서 냉각된 상기 증발가스를 감압하는 제1 감압장치; 상기 제1 감압장치에서 감압된 상기 증발가스를 공급받아 기액분리하는 제1 기액분리기; 상기 제1 기액분리기에서 분리된 액화가스를 공급받아 기액분리하는 제2 기액분리기; 및 상기 압축기와 열교환기 사이에 마련되어 상기 열교환기에서 냉각될 상기 증발가스를 예냉하는 예냉기;를 포함하며, 상기 제1 기액분리기에서 분리된 플래시 가스는 상기 열교환기를 거쳐 상기 발전엔진의 연료로 공급될 수 있는 것을 특징으로 한다.
