Disclosed are a boil-off gas treatment system for a ship and a method thereof which increase reliquefaction performance. According to the present invention, the boil-off gas treatment system for a ship having a main engine and a generation engine to receive low-pressure fuel in comparison to the main engine comprises: a boil-off gas supply line connected to the main engine from a storage tank provided on the ship to store liquefied gas; a compressor which is provided on the boil-off gas supply line and receives boil-off gas created from the liquefied gas to compress the boil-off gas to a fuel supply pressure of the main engine; a reliquefaction line which branches from the boil-off gas supply line downstream of the compressor to be connected to the storage tank, and cools and reliquefies boil-of gas which is not supplied as fuel of the main engine by heat exchange with uncompressed boil-off gas to be supplied to the compressor; a heat exchanger which is provided on the reliquefaction line and receives compressed gas compressed by the compressor to cool the compressed gas by heat exchange; a precooler provided on the front end of the heat exchanger on the reliquefaction line to precool the compressed gas to be introduced to the heat exchanger; and a branch line branching from the reliquefaction line on the rear end of the heat exchanger to decompress and supply the compressed gas to the generation engine via the heat exchanger.

    선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 선박의 증발가스 처리 시스템은, 주엔진과 상기 주엔진보다 저압연료를 공급받는 발전엔진이 마련된 선박에서, 상기 선박에 마련되어 액화가스를 저장하는 저장탱크로부터 상기 주엔진으로 연결되는 증발가스 공급라인; 상기 증발가스 공급라인에 마련되며 상기 액화가스로부터 발생하는 증발가스를 공급받아 상기 주엔진의 연료공급압력으로 압축하는 압축기; 상기 압축기의 하류에서 상기 증발가스 공급라인으로부터 분기되어 상기 저장탱크로 연결되며, 상기 주엔진의 연료로 공급되지 않는 증발가스를 상기 압축기로 공급될 미압축 증발가스와 열교환으로 냉각하고 재액화시키는 재액화 라인; 상기 재액화 라인에 마련되며 상기 압축기에서 압축된 압축가스를 공급받아 열교환으로 냉각시키는 열교환기; 상기 재액화 라인에서 상기 열교환기의 전단에 마련되어 상기 열교환기로 도입될 상기 압축가스를 예냉하는 예냉기; 및 상기 열교환기의 후단에서 상기 재액화 라인으로부터 분기되어 상기 압축가스를 감압하여 상기 열교환기를 거쳐 상기 발전엔진으로 공급하는 분기라인;을 포함한다.
