The present invention relates to an air bag deployment method for an autonomous vehicle, which comprises: a first step in which an air bag control unit receives a signal with respect to a seat back-rest adjustment angle from a seat back-rest adjustment angle detection sensor; and a second step in which the air bag control unit selects an air bag to be deployed and an air bag not to be deployed among a plurality of air bags installed in a vehicle based on the signal received in the first step, before determining the deployment order of the air bag to be deployed, the expansion pressure of the air bags, and the like. Therefore, even when a driver drives a vehicle in a state in which the seat back-rest is laid down for rest during the autonomous driving of the vehicle, the air bags can be selectively deployed in accordance with the changed seat back-rest adjustment angle, thereby guaranteeing safety of the driver.

    본 발명은 자율주행차량의 에어백 전개방법에 관한 것으로 에어백 제어유닛이 시트등받이 조절각도 감지센서로 부터 시트등받이 조절각도에 관한 신호를 수신하는 제1단계, 상기 에어백 제어유닛이 제1단계에서 수신된 신호를 바탕으로 차량에 설치된 다수의 에어백 중에 전개시켜야할 에어백과 전개시키지 말아야할 에어백을 선택하고 전개시켜야할 에어백의 전개순서,에어백의 팽창압력등을 결정하는 제2단계를 포함하여 구성함으로써 차량의 자율주행시 운전자가 휴식을 위하여 시트등받이를 눕힌 상태에서 주행하더라도 변경된 시트등받이 조절각도에 맞춰 에어백이 선택적으로 전개하도록 함으로써 운전자의 안전을 확보할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
