The present invention relates to a fuel cell vehicle system having a compact bidirectional converter. The fuel cell vehicle system comprises: a fuel cell; a first motor connected to the fuel cell through a first bus terminal to be driven by electric power supplied from the fuel cell, and providing power to drive wheels of a vehicle; a high-voltage battery which stores or supplies the electric power through charging or discharging; and a second motor connected to the high-voltage battery through a second bus terminal to be driven by the electric power supplied by the high-voltage battery and providing the power to the drive wheels of the vehicle.
