The present invention provides a radar detector which detects a speed of a vehicle in cooperation with a speed camera. The radar detector comprises: a front end including an antenna and a transceiver module; a back end including a signal process board which is composed of a power supply board, an analogue board and a digital board; a transmission waveform generator using both a triangular wave method and a continuous wave method of a frequency modulated continuous wave; and a signal processor including a vehicle detection section differentially applied according to a vehicle speed. The radar detector is easy to be installed and maintained because the radar detector is a non-contact type which is not embedded in a road.
