The present invention relates to measurement of a residual amount of fuel in heavy equipment and, more particularly, to an apparatus for determining fuel theft using a residual amount of fuel in heavy construction equipment and a method thereof. An object of the present invention is to provide a system that can systematically manage fuel injection and consumption in heavy construction equipment and easily grasp fuel theft. The apparatus for determining fuel theft comprises: a receiving device (110) for receiving first information on fuel consumption received from heavy equipment (200) and second information on the amount of fuel supplied to the heavy equipment received from a gas station (300); a storage unit (130) for storing the previous day′s residual amount (10) of fuel and the maximum amount (20) of fuel in the heavy equipment (200); a residual fuel amount calculating unit (120) for calculating the residual amount of fuel in the heavy equipment (200) based on the first and second information; and a determining means for determining whether the fuel has been stolen depending upon whether the calculated residual amount of fuel exceeds the maximum amount (20) of fuel.

    본 발명은 중장비의 유류 잔량 측정에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 건설중장비의 유류 잔량을 이용한 유류 탈취 판단 장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해, 중장비(200)로부터 수신되는 유류소모에 관한 제 1 정보 및 주유소(300)로부터 수신되는 중장비의 주유량에 관한 제 2 정보를 수신하는 수신장치(110); 중장비(200)의 전일유류잔량(10) 및 최대주유량(20)을 저장하는 저장부(130); 제 1, 2 정보에 기초하여 상기 중장비(200)의 유류잔량을 산출하는 유류잔량산출부(120); 및 산출된 유류잔량이 최대주유량(20)을 초과하는지 여부에 따라 유류 탈취 여부를 판단하는 판단수단;을 제공한다.
