The present invention relates to a radial tire having cap ply formed of a polyethylene terephthalate dip cord. The radial tire includes: a pair of parallel bead cores; at least one radial carcass ply wound around the bead core; a cap ply layer laminated on an outer circumference of the carcass ply; and a cap fly reinforcement layer formed on the outer circumference of the cap ply layer in the circumferential direction, wherein the cap ply includes a dip cord manufactured by using 500 to 2000 denier yarns formed of polyethylene terephthalate high strength yarn in the form of 1 ply or 2 ply, in which a 1500 d/2 dip cord has a force-deformation curve to extend less than 4.0% at an initial stress of 5 kgf, extend less than or equal to 7.3% at a stress of 10 kgf, and extend at least 1.5% or more from 16 kgf until being cut.

    본 발명은 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 딥 코드로 제조된 캡 플라이를 가진 래디얼 타이어에 관한 것이다. 한 쌍의 평행한 비드코어; 비드코어 주위에 감기는 적어도 하나의 래디얼 카카스 플라이; 카카스 플라이 외주에 적층된 캡플라이 층; 및 캡플라이 층의 외주에 형성된 원주방향의 캡플라이 보강층;을 포함하는 래디얼 타이어에 있어서, 상기 캡플라이는 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트 고강도사로 제조된 500 내지 2000데니어 원사를 1ply 또는 2ply 형태로 사용하여 제조된 딥 코드를 포함하고, 그 중1500d/2 딥 코드는, 5kgf의 초기응력에서 4.0% 미만 신장하며, 10kgf 응력에서 7.3%이하 신장하며, 16kgf 부터 절단될 때 까지 최소 1.5% 이상 신장하는 힘-변형 곡선을 갖는 것을 특징으로 한다.
