The present invention relates to a system and a method for reacting to vehicle sudden acceleration using an airbag so as to prevent accidents by operating an airbag located at the lower portion of a vehicle body to force the vehicle to be separated from the ground when it is determined that sudden acceleration has occurred. The system includes: a data collection unit for obtaining images of an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal to control the vehicle, and collecting distance measured values obtained by measuring OBD data and the degree of push of the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal and decibel values of a vehicle engine due to the sudden acceleration; a data integration unit for integrating the measured data into the images collected by the data collection unit; a sudden acceleration determination unit for determining sudden acceleration of the vehicle by using the integrated image data information in the data integration unit; and an airbag drive control unit for forcibly separating the vehicle from the ground to stop the vehicle by actuating a vehicle compulsive stop airbag based on the sudden acceleration determination information in the sudden acceleration determination unit.

    본 발명은 급발진이 발생한 것으로 판단되면 차체 하부에 위치하는 에어백을 작동시켜 차량을 지면으로부터 강제 이격시켜 정지되도록 하여 사고를 예방할 수 있도록 한 에어백을 이용한 차량 급발진 대응 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 차량 제어를 위한 엑셀 페달과 브레이크 페달의 영상을 획득하고, OBD 데이터, 엑셀 페달 및 브레이크 페달의 밟아지는 정도를 측정하는 거리 측정값 및 급발진에 의한 차량 엔진의 데시벨값을 수집하는 데이터 수집부;상기 데이터 수집부에서 수집된 영상에 측정된 데이터를 통합 처리하는 데이터 통합부;상기 데이터 통합부에서 통합된 영상 데이터 통합 정보를 이용하여 차량 급발진을 판단하는 급발진 판단부;상기 급발진 판단부에서의 급발진 판단 정보를 기준으로 차량 강제 정지 에어백을 작동시켜 차량을 지면으로부터 강제 이격시켜 정지되도록 하는 에어백 구동 제어부;를 포함하는 것이다.
