The present invention provides a method and a system for estimating a movable travel distance of an electric vehicle, which build big data by matching a road condition and an actual travel record of an electric vehicle, and accurately estimate and provide a movable travel distance by reflecting the remaining battery amount of the electric vehicle actually traveling based on the big data. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for estimating a movable travel distance of an electric vehicle comprises the following steps of: a telematics server dividing a road into a plurality of sections, and receiving travel information from a random vehicle traveling each section to build fuel data of the corresponding section; transmitting vehicle state information, start point and destination information from a target vehicle to the telematics server; the telematics server receiving real time weather information and road traffic condition information for each section included in the road from the start point to the destination; and the telematics server reflecting the vehicle state information, the weather information and the road traffic condition information of the target vehicle to the fuel data built for the section included in the road from the start point to the destination, and calculating an expected fuel and an expected movable travel distance of the target vehicle.

    본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 전기 자동차의 주행가능거리 예측방법은, 텔레메틱스 서버가 도로를 복수의 구간으로 분할하고, 각 구간을 주행하는 임의의 차량으로부터 주행 정보를 입력받아 해당 구간의 연비 데이터를 구축하는 단계; 대상 차량에서 차량 상태 정보, 출발지 및 목적지 정보를 텔레메틱스 서버에 전송하는 단계; 텔레메틱스 서버가 출발지로부터 목적지까지의 도로에 포함된 구간별 실시간 기상 정보 및 도로교통상황정보를 수신하는 단계; 및 텔레메틱스 서버가 출발지로부터 목적지까지의 도로에 포함된 구간에 대해 구축한 연비 데이터에 대상 차량의 차량 상태 정보, 기상 정보 및 도로교통상황정보를 반영하여 대상 차량의 예상 연비 및 예상 주행가능거리를 연산하는 단계를 포함하는 점에 그 특징이 있다.
