In one embodiment, an image analysis is performed on an image representing the external environment of an autonomous driving vehicle captured using a camera mounted on the autonomous driving vehicle. Positioning information around the autonomous driving vehicle is acquired at a time point. Based on the image analysis and the positioning information, the detection of viewers outside the autonomous driving vehicle is determined. In response to the detection of the viewers, one or more content items from one or more content servers are received through the network. A first content item selected from the one or more content items is displayed on a display device mounted on the outer surface of the autonomous driving vehicle. It is possible to transmit contents to the autonomous driving vehicle.
