The present invention relates to a beacon with an improved assembly structure of a global positioning system (GPS), which facilitates installment and maintenance when a GPS for confirming the position of a beacon is mounted on the beacon. The beacon comprises: a beacon main body; a fastening mount which is assembled to an upper end of the beacon main body and accommodates the GPS; and a cap assembled on the upper side of the fastening mount for the GPS accommodated in the fastening mount not to be exposed. The beacon main body has a spiral portion formed on an inner circumferential surface of a fastening hole perforated to penetrate therethrough vertically, and the fastening mount is provided with an accommodation portion on an upper portion thereof and a hollow cylindrical assembly portion having a spiral portion so as to be assembled to the fastening hole of the beacon main body, such that a cable connected to the GPS is drawn out to the inside of the beacon main body to be connectable to a power source or a control panel. The cap is provided in the accommodation portion on the upper portion of the fastening mount to be detachable in a spiral manner, such that after the fastening mount is assembled to the beacon main body, the GPS is accommodated in the fastening mount and the cap is coupled to the fastening mount, thereby simplifying the assembly structure of the GPS.

    본 발명은 등명기의 위치확인을 위한 지피에스를 등명기에 장착할 경우에 장착이 용이토록 하면서도 유지보수가 용이하도록 한 지피에스(GPS)의 개선된 조립구조를 갖는 등명기에 관한 것으로, 등명기 본체와, 상기 등명기 본체의 상단에 조립되며 지피에스가 수납되는 체결대와, 상기 체결대에 수납된 지피에스가 노출되지 않도록 체결대의 상측에 조립되는 캡을 포함하여 구성되도록 하고, 상기 등명기 본체는 상,하로 관통하게 타공된 체결홀의 내주면에 나선부를 형성하고, 상기 체결대는 상부에 수납부를 구비하고 수납부의 하측으로는 상기 등명기 본체의 체결홀에 조립되도록 나선부가 형성된 중공의 원통형 조립부를 형성하여 지피에스에 연결되는 케이블을 등명기 본체의 내측으로 인출하여 전원 또는 제어판에 연결가능하게 구비하며, 상기 캡은 체결대 상부의 수납부에 나선방식으로 탈착 가능하게 구비하여 등명기 본체에 체결대를 조립한 후 지피에스를 수납하고 캡을 결합하여 지피에스의 조립구조가 간단하게 이루어지도록 한 것이다.
