The present invention relates to a ship having a fuel gas supply system, and a fuel gas supply method thereof. In supplying a fuel gas from an LNG storage tank to an engine, a boil-off gas generated in the LNG storage tank using a turbo charger operated by an exhaust gas of an engine is compressed at high pressure to be supplied as the fuel gas to the engine in order to improve energy efficiency and reduce fuel gas supply operation costs since an additional power source to compress the boil-off gas at the high pressure is not required.
본 발명은 연료가스 공급시스템을 갖는 선박 및 그 선박의 연료가스 공급방법에 관한 것으로, LNG 저장탱크로부터 연료가스를 엔진에 공급함에 있어서 엔진의 배기가스로 구동하는 터보차저(Turbo Charger)를 이용하여 LNG 저장탱크에서 발생하는 증발가스를 고압으로 압축하여 연료가스로서 엔진에 공급함으로써, 증발가스를 고압으로 압축하기 위한 별도의 동력원이 필요하지 않으므로, 연료가스 공급 운전비용 절감은 물론 에너지 효율을 높일 수 있다.
