The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to check a gas leakage of an LNG cargo tank using an air bouncer and a gas reacting substance, and an LNG carrier or an LNG offshore platform comprising the same configured to conveniently check for gas leakage of the LNG cargo tank using a minimum number of personnel by closely adhering a transparent air bouncer with a gas reacting substance applied on an outside wall surface in the LNG cargo tank without a gap while inserting the air bouncer into the LNG cargo tank. To achieve the above purpose, the apparatus and method to check for gas leakage of an LNG cargo tank is configured in a method such that an air bouncer (2000) which is de-aired is inserted through a gas dome (110) of the LNG cargo tank (100), and then the air bouncer (200) installed in the LNG cargo tank (100) by adhering the air bouncer (200) to an inner wall surface of the LNG cargo tank (100); a gas reacting substance (300) applied to the outside of the air bouncer (200); and gas leakage checked by injecting a reacting gas in the LNG cargo tank (100) with the air bouncer (200) installed.

    본 발명은 가스반응물질이 외부에 도포된 투명한 에어바운서를 LNG 화물창 내부로 삽입하면서 LNG 화물창 내벽면과 틈이 없도록 밀착시켜 최소의 인원으로 간편하게 LNG 화물창의 가스누출을 검사할 수 있도록 한 에어바운서와 가스반응물질을 이용한 LNG 화물창 가스누출 검사장치 및 그 방법, 그리고 이를 포함하는 LNG 운반선 또는 LNG 해양 플랫폼에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은 LNG 화물창의 누출가스를 검사하는 장치에 있어서, 상기 LNG 화물창(100)의 가스돔(110)을 통하여 공기를 뺀 에어바운서(2000)를 삽입한 다음 에어바운서(200)를 LNG 화물창(100) 내벽면과 틈이 없도록 밀착되게 팽창시켜 LNG 화물창(100) 내부에 설치하되 상기 에어바운서(200) 외부에 가스반응물질(300)을 도포하고, 상기 에어바운서(300)가 설치된 상태에서 LNG 화물창(100) 내부에 반응가스를 주입하여 가스누출을 검사하게 되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
