The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a large rope pulley used in a heavy crane, comprising: a rope pulley manufacturing step of manufacturing a rope pulley having a rope groove formed on an outer periphery thereof by cutting a material; a high-frequency hardening step of hardening the surface of the rope groove by high-frequency induced heating of the outer periphery of the rope pulley; and a tempering step of reheating and then cooling the outer periphery of the rope pulley that has undergone the high-frequency hardening step, wherein the rope groove of the rope pulley has a surface hardness of 40 or more in Rockwell Hardness (HRC) from the surface to a depth of 5 mm. The method for manufacturing a rope pulley can minimize the wear of the rope groove to improve the life of the rope pulley even when a heavy load is applied to the rope pulley.

    본 발명은 고중량 크레인에 사용되는 대형 로프풀리를 제조하기 위한 방법에 관한 것으로서, 소재를 절삭가공하여 외주연에 로프홈이 형성된 로프풀리를 제작하는 로프풀리 제작 단계; 상기 로프풀리의 외주연을 고주파 유도 가열함으로써 상기 로프홈의 표면을 경화시키는 고주파경화 단계; 및 상기 고주파경화 단계를 거친 로프풀리의 외주연을 재가열한 후 냉각시키는 템퍼링 단계;를 포함하여 이루어져, 상기 로프풀리의 로프홈이 표면에서부터 5㎜ 깊이까지 로크웰 경도(HRC) 40 이상의 표면경도를 갖는 것을 특징으로 하는 로프풀리 제조방법을 개시한다.
