Provided in the present invention is a ship propulsion method, which can provide a stable operating environment of the power take home (PTH) mode based on an energy storage device. To this end, the ship propulsion method according to one embodiment of the present invention may comprise: a step in which a control unit stops the operation of an axis generator in accordance with the decrease in the RPM of the main engine of a ship; a step in which the control unit discharges electricity stored in the energy storage device; a step in which the control unit converts the load connected to an auxiliary generator to the energy storage device; a step in which the control unit stops the operation of the main engine and the auxiliary generator; and a step in which the axis generator is operated in the PTH mode propelling the ship by receiving electricity from the energy storage device in accordance with the control of the control unit.

    본 발명은, 에너지 저장 장치 기반으로 PTH 모드의 안정적인 기동 환경을 제공할 수 있는 선박 추진 방법을 제공하기 위한 것으로, 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 선박 추진 방법은 제어부가 선박의 메인 엔진의 분당 회전 송도 감소에 따라 축 발전기의 운전을 정지시키는 단계, 상기 제어부가 에너지 저장 장치에 저장된 전력을 방전시키는 단계, 상기 제어부가 보조 발전기에 연결된 부하를 상기 에너지 저장 장치로 전환시키는 단계, 상기 제어부가 상기 메인 엔진 및 상기 보조 발전기의 동작을 중지시키는 단계, 상기 제어부의 제어에 따라 상기 축 발전기는 상기 에너지 저장 장치로부터의 전력을 공급받아 상기 선박을 추진하는 PTH (Power Take Home) 모드로 운전하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
